    Vendors are required to provide taste portions and at least two products for promotional purposes.
  • These products are used by Tasteoff to promote guest attendance and eventually boost sale

  • Guidelines for participation

    1. Allocation of stalls and space is strictly on a first come first serve basis.
    2. Vendors MUST arrive as early as 9am and be fully setup by 11am.
    3. All vehicles must be removed from the set-up two hours prior to the start of the event and must use assigned parking area/space.
    4. All vendors are to sell strictly within the categories they specified.
    5. All stalls are provided for a single participant and sharing is not permitted under any circumstance.
    6. Vendors are not permitted to sell water or branded soft drinks or alcoholic beverages.
    7. Cocktail vendors are allowed to only sell their cocktails either alcoholic or non-alcoholic which is permitted for sale.
    8. All vendors should be neatly dressed and have appropriate clothing (aprons, gloves, beard masks sanitizers etc).
    9. Vendors are responsible for keeping their assigned area clean, tidy and orderly.
    10. Vendors MUST have individual bin for waste management
    11. Electricity. Only Vendors that pay for electricity are allowed to use there personal extension Cables for easy power connection.
    12. Only disposable Plates /Cups & Cutlery are allowed, in the case where you have run out of supplies, contact a TasteOff representative (A fee will apply).
    13. Vendors are advised to provide packs and plastic bags for festival guests to have a takeaway option.
    14. Vendors are advised to have waiters or assistants to help promote, educate and serve festival guests.
    15. Vendors are advised to have handy menus with prices clearly displayed for festival guests.
    16. Taste portions are usually a selling point, small servings at reasonable prices so guests can taste food from your stall is advisable. The reason for this approach is to ensure guests get the opportunity to buy from most vendors.
    17. A larger portion of food can be priced according to the vendor’s discretion, If you have just one taste option on your menu this is okay.
    18. Please bring your Point of Sale (POS) device to allow guests the pay by card; should they run out of cash at your stall.
    19. Sale of expired or foul tasting food/drink would be halted immediately if we receive complaints from at least 3 guests.
    20. Please bring adequate cash change as this seems to be a problem from previous years and try and price within 000’s (100-200-1000-3000 etc) so change will not be an issue.
    21. Vendors are expected to take full responsibility for their sales and monies and Taste Off will not be held liable for loss of fund or damage of property.
    22. Please note that Taste Off reserves the right to take out/remove any vendor that does not comply with the above statement.
    23. NO VENDORS OR THEIR REPRESENTATIVES should conduct themselves in a manner offensive to general standards event.
    24. Vendors are to employ the highest level of professionalism and decorum in dealing with guests and should desist from engaging in altercations with guests. Cases of this nature should be immediately referred to the nearest TasteOff representative.
    25. Taste Off also reserves the right to screen all stalls and exclude inappropriate items. In the event of inappropriate behavior, the stalls will be forced to close and all fees will be forfeited.
    26. TasteOff reserves the right to allocate or relocate stalls based on unforeseen circumstances.
    27. Cancellation of booking and refund is subject to resale of stall by TasteOff only and attracts a fine of not more than 50% of stall price.
    28. Tasteoff only accepts full payment for stalls within the approved payment time-frame as shall be conveyed during the selection period.
